Delivered isn't the same as seen.
A lead can be technically delivered and still sit unread in a Spam folder nobody checks. Formitor reads which folder each tagged test lead actually lands in, and diagnoses the SPF, DKIM and DMARC misconfigurations that put it there.
Placement tells you where. Diagnostics tell you why.
Delivery verification catches the failure. This layer explains it, and catches the slow-burn version where mail still arrives but lands in Spam.
Inbox placement
Formitor reads which folder each tagged test lead lands in across multiple mailbox providers: Inbox or Spam. "It was delivered" starts meaning "it was findable". A message that starts slipping into Spam triggers the same confirmed-failure alerting as a hard drop.
Deliverability diagnostics
Per sending domain, Formitor checks the email authentication that mailbox providers actually judge you on, and reads the real authentication results from messages that arrive. You fix the root cause, not the symptom.
Misconfigured auth is why "sent" mail quietly disappears.
Most WordPress sites send notification mail from a domain whose SPF, DKIM and DMARC were set up once, years ago, then broken by a host migration or a new marketing tool. Providers respond by silently filing the mail as junk.
- SPF present and within limits. The record exists, includes the real senders, and stays under the 10-lookup cap.
- DKIM signing. Messages are signed and the published key matches what arrives.
- DMARC policy and safe ordering. A policy exists, aligns with SPF/DKIM, and won't quarantine your own legitimate mail.
- Authoritative header verdicts. The pass/fail read by the receiving provider on real delivered messages, not just a DNS lint.
- Recipient-domain checks and one-click recheck. Fixed the DNS? Recheck instantly instead of waiting for the next scheduled run.
Illustrative audit readout. Your dashboard shows real results per sending domain.
The seed mailbox is Formitor's, and it only reads its own mail.
- Dedicated seed mailbox. Test leads are delivered to inboxes Formitor owns at multiple providers, never to your client's real inbox.
- Only its own test message. Formitor looks for the tagged test lead it sent. It never reads anyone's correspondence.
- Cleaned up after. Test messages and test entries are removed once the check completes.
Stop guessing why the mail went missing.
Placement tells you where every lead lands. Diagnostics tell you exactly what to fix.
