Terms of Service

Last updated: Draft: pending review

This is a working draft. These terms are a starting scaffold and must be reviewed and finalized with legal counsel before Formitor launches publicly. They are not yet binding.

1. The service

Formitor provides synthetic monitoring of web forms: it submits test entries on a schedule and verifies whether the resulting notification emails are delivered, then surfaces results and alerts. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You must have the right to monitor the sites and forms you connect, and to install the Formitor plugin on them.
  • You are responsible for the configuration you set: schedules, recipients, and any status pages you publish.
  • You must not use the service to overload, probe, or disrupt sites you do not control.

3. Synthetic test entries

Formitor submits tagged test leads to the forms you connect. These are generated by the service for monitoring purposes and are cleaned up where supported. You acknowledge that monitored forms will receive these test submissions.

4. Availability & accuracy

We work to detect failures reliably and to avoid false alarms through confirm-before-alert re-checks. However, monitoring is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee detection of every possible failure mode, and Formitor is a safeguard, not a replacement for your own diligence.

5. Plans & billing

Pricing is usage-based; specific tiers, billing terms, and any trial conditions will be confirmed at launch and presented at sign-up.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Formitor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including leads or revenue lost due to a form failure the service did not detect. A full limitation-of-liability clause will be finalized with counsel.

7. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
